Two blocks off Scottsdale Road.

An adobe building with thick walls and a fig tree in the courtyard. If you are looking for a sign the size of a building you will walk past it, which is roughly the intention.

Where to leave the car

The public structure on 3rd Avenue is free for the first three hours and is a two‑minute walk. Street parking on 5th is two‑hour metered and turns over slowly on Saturdays, so the structure is usually faster even though it looks further on a map.

If you are being dropped off, the west door on 5th is the one. The courtyard entrance around the side is lovely and is locked until nine.

Getting in

Solid wooden door, no glass, small brass plate at eye height. It looks closed. It is not. Push it and you are in the entry with the desk on your left, and somebody will take your coat before you have finished apologising for being early.

If it is your first time, read your first visit before you come. The whole sequence is written out there so the first fifteen minutes are not spent working out where to put your shoes.

Accessibility

Step‑free from the 5th Avenue door through to four of the six suites, the courtyard and the accessible washroom. The two upper suites are reached by six stairs with a handrail and no lift. Say when you book and the ground‑floor suites are held.

Open every day.

Nine to seven, including Sunday. The desk answers until close.
