Your visit · two tables

Two tables. One room.

The largest room in the building, with the fireplace and the window that opens onto the river. Any two rituals, prepared for the same start time, with a forty-dollar room fee on top of the two treatments.

01
The room

Our largest, at the north end, with a fireplace we light between October and April and a window that opens onto the water. Two tables, two therapists, one room fee.

Any two rituals

They do not have to match. One forest hour and one deep ninety is common, and the therapists simply stagger the start so you finish together.

The tea after

The room stays yours for as long as you want it afterwards, which for most people is another half hour. Nobody will knock.

With the water sequence

Two hours in the pools and rest room, then the room. It is the closest thing here to a full day and it comes to about three hundred dollars each.

Why our gift certificates never expire

Expiring gift certificates are a revenue line. In most of the industry, somewhere between ten and twenty per cent of the face value of gift cards is never redeemed, and an expiry date turns that from an accident into a plan.

We will not do it. Somebody spent a hundred and eighty-five dollars intending you to have an hour, and eighteen months later either you have had it or they have made us a gift, and the second one is not a business we want to be in.

So: no expiry. Transferable to anybody. Refundable to whoever bought it for ninety days if they change their mind. If it is partly used, the balance stays on it indefinitely.

Buying one for somebody who has never been

Buy an amount rather than a named treatment, and make it a little more than the ritual you have in mind so they do not feel they have to book the cheapest thing that fits. A hundred is generous and a hundred and ninety covers the forest hour with room to spare.

And put the address on the card. Half the people who receive these do not realise the drive is thirty-five minutes from Olympia, and finding that out on the morning is not the intended experience.

Asked often.

Do Stillwater gift certificates expire?

Never. They are transferable, refundable to the buyer for ninety days, and any unused balance stays on the certificate indefinitely.

Do both people have to book the same treatment in the couples room?

No. Any two rituals, and the therapists stagger the starts so you finish at the same time. One forest hour and one deep ninety is the most common pairing.

How much is the couples room?

Forty dollars on top of the two treatments. It is a room fee rather than a premium on the rituals themselves.

Can we use the pools as a couple without a treatment?

Yes, the mineral soak is $48 each for ninety minutes with a robe and a quiet room. It is the least expensive way to spend an afternoon here.

No expiry. Ever.

Any amount, posted on card or emailed the same day. Ring the desk and somebody will write it out.
