Two chairs, two books.
Both stylists here are independent. They rent their chair, keep their own calendar, set their own prices and take their own payment. You are booking a person, not a slot.
How this studio works
Booth rental, in plain English.
Most small studios in Nashville run this way, and most guests never notice. Jade and Alyssa are not employees of Verse. They are two stylists who share a lease, a shampoo bowl and a standard. What they don't share is a calendar.
That is worth knowing before you book, because it changes exactly one thing: you pick the chair, not the salon.
- Two calendars, two waitlists. A Thursday that looks full may be full for one chair and open in the other. Ask.
- Prices differ by chair, and both lists are printed below in full. Neither of them is a starting bid.
- Seeing both in one afternoon is normal. Color with Jade, cut with Alyssa. Tell either of us and we will line the two appointments up back to back.
- Payment is separate. Each stylist runs her own card reader. Gratuity is separate too, card or cash, and never expected on a consultation.
- Products and standards are shared. Same color line, same bond builder, same towels, same rule about not overbooking a room this size.
Chair one · color
Jade Sutton.
Eight years behind the chair, three of them assisting a corrective colorist in Green Hills before she opened this room. Balayage, lived-in blonde, gray blending, and the work most stylists quietly decline: undoing somebody else's four years.
Correction is now most of her book. She will look at a photo before she looks at a calendar, and she will tell you if the honest answer is two visits, or three, or grow it out and let me gloss it.

Chair two · cutting & extensions
Alyssa Torres.
Five years, certified in hand-tied wefts, and the reason this studio can say yes to a haircut on two days' notice. Dry cutting on curl and wave, blunt shapes that hold, and extension work she will genuinely talk you out of if your density does not want it.
She also takes bridal (trial in the studio, day-of on location) and the keratin smoothing appointments that get people through a Nashville August.

Pick by the problem,
not by the person.
- Your color has grown out and you like it. Jade: gloss or root retouch.
- Your color has grown out and you don't like it. Jade: consultation first, with photos in daylight.
- You want to be blonder than you are. Jade: consultation. How much blonder decides whether it is one visit or three.
- Your ends are the problem, not the color. Alyssa: book a cut directly.
- You have extensions already in. Alyssa: move-up, book directly.
- You want extensions and have never had them. Alyssa: consultation. Density and lifestyle decide this one, not a photo you saved.
- You are getting married. Alyssa for hair, and book the trial before the color, not after.
If you genuinely cannot tell, send the photo and let us route it. Guessing wrong costs you a rescheduled Saturday.
