Length and density, matched so well that nobody can tell. What follows is what it costs to keep them that way: install, hair, and every move-up for a year.
Non-negotiable
We do not install extensions on a first visit.
Not once, not for a wedding on Saturday, not for anyone. Extensions are hair we have to order to your exact color, in a length and density chosen for your head, attached to hair we have assessed by hand. None of that can happen in the same hour you walk in.
So it starts with forty-five minutes. Alyssa looks at your density at the crown and the nape, checks the ends for breakage, matches your color in daylight rather than under the mirror lights, and tells you honestly whether extensions will do what you are picturing.
The consultation is $50, and it comes straight off your install.
What the consultation covers
- Density and shed pattern. How much of your own hair there is to hold weight, and where it thins.
- Condition. Extensions do not fix damage. They add weight to it.
- Color match. Held to your mid-lengths in daylight, at the window, not under a mirror bulb.
- Method. Hand-tied or tape-in, chosen for your hair rather than for what is trending.
- The calendar. Move-ups every six to eight weeks, written down before you commit.

Two methods
What we install, and who each one suits.
Hand-tied wefts
Thin wefts sewn onto a row of beaded track. Two to four rows depending on the length you want and what your own hair can carry. They lie flattest, they move most like your own hair, and they are the method we install most.

Tape-in wefts
Pre-taped wefts sandwiched around thin sections of your own hair. Faster to install, lighter on the scalp, and gentler on fine hair that cannot hold a beaded row. The trade is that they need re-taping at every move-up.

Move-ups
Every six to eight weeks, without exception. Your natural hair grows and the row travels down with it; left too long, the weight pulls at the root instead of hanging from it. This is the appointment people skip, and it is the one that protects the hair.

Cut & blend
Extensions arrive blunt. They have to be cut into your own layers or the line where yours ends and theirs begins is visible from across a room. Included free with your first install, then $85 whenever the shape needs revisiting.

Full removal
Rows taken down, beads released, scalp cleansed and treated. Do not do this at home with kitchen scissors. We have undone that repair more than once. Free if you are removing at a move-up appointment anyway.

Cost of ownership
A year of hand-tied, written out.
The install price is the number salons advertise. It is not the number you spend. Hair is bought separately and is yours to keep; move-ups are the real recurring cost; and good hair, cared for, lasts eight to twelve months before it needs replacing.
Here is a realistic first year, at the low and high end. We would rather you see it now than find out in month four.

If that number is not comfortable, tape-ins run roughly two thirds of it, and a good haircut runs $85.
Where we draw the line
What we won't do.
- Install over unresolved damage. If the ends are breaking, the answer is a cut and a treatment plan first. Extensions add weight to hair that is already struggling to hold its own.
- Install the same day as a lightening service. Give the hair two weeks. Color first, extensions after, always in that order.
- Fusion or keratin bonds. A studio choice. The removal is harder on the hair than we are willing to be.
- Micro-links on fine or fragile hair. The weight sits on too few strands. We will show you the tape-in version instead.
- Sell you hair we have not matched in person. Matching from a photograph is how people end up with a row they can see in every mirror.
- Install and disappear. Move-ups are part of the service, not an upsell. If you cannot commit to the calendar, we would rather you did not start.
