Two suites, and no second bed.

Plume exists because Iris spent four years being asked to run two clients at once and watching what it did to people’s lashes. Everything else here follows from deciding not to do that.

The room came second

The unit on Camden Row was a photographer’s studio and had exactly one thing going for it: north light through a whole wall, which is the light you want when you are matching a curl to somebody’s own lashes and cannot afford to be flattered by a ring light.

The rest took four months and most of it went into things nobody sees. Two separate ventilation runs, because adhesive fumes are a real occupational issue for the artist sitting in them nine hours a day. Beds that adjust properly. And a door on each suite, so a fill is not conducted in a room where somebody else is having a conversation about their wedding.

What has changed

Two services have come off the menu since 2019 and nothing has been added. Lash tint went because it does almost nothing on anyone who is already wearing extensions. A “lash bath” add-on went because charging fifteen dollars for a cleanse that should be part of every appointment was indefensible, and it now is part of every appointment.

We have been asked to open a second location twice. The honest answer is that what is being sold here is three specific people paying attention for an hour, and that does not duplicate.

What we don’t do.

A short list saves you a phone call.

Not here

No cluster or strip lashes. Bonded across several natural lashes at once, which ties every lash in the cluster to the shedding schedule of the slowest.

No microblading or PMU. That is a tattoo and it belongs with someone who does it every day. Most people asking for it want henna.

Not how we work

No packages or prepaid courses. Nothing sold in blocks of six at a discount so you feel obliged to use them.

No retail shelf. Your artist will name the cleanser and where to buy it. Commission and honest advice do not coexist.

Come and see the room.

Full sets book about a week out. Fills usually inside three days.
