— How the list works
One name.
One text.
That's the whole system.
There's a tablet on the counter inside the door. First name, phone number, then either pick a barber or tap next available. Fifteen seconds, and nobody makes you create an account. If you'd rather not touch it, say your name to whoever is closest and somebody will write it down. The tablet is a convenience, not a gate.
We text you once, when you're two out. That's the only message you'll ever get from us. Until it lands, the block is yours: get a coffee on the corner, run into the print shop, sit in the car. Come back when the phone buzzes and you go straight into the chair.
Miss the turn? We hold your spot for ten minutes, then take the next name and slot you in behind him. You lose the turn, not the day. Nobody gets thrown off this list.
Requesting a barber works the same way. See who works which days before you sign in, and put his name next to yours.
