— What the number covers
Thirty-five is thirty-five.
Not thirty-five for a short cut and fifty because your hair is thick, or long, or curly. Not more because the barber who's free has been here ten years instead of five. Four chairs, one number, and nobody at the front desk deciding which one you get.
A straight-razor neckline comes with every cut. So does the hot towel, and the line-up at the front. We're not charging you fifteen dollars to square an edge we already have the trimmer out for. If you sit down for a haircut you leave with all three.
There are no packages here and there never have been. A package is a way of making you buy the third thing to get a discount on the second. If you want a cut and a beard, that's fifty. If you only want the cut, that's thirty-five, and nobody at the chair is going to work on you about the difference.
