The sets · soft to softer

Four sets, by feel.

The names describe technique rather than drama. What actually decides which one suits you is how many natural lashes you have and how much weight they will carry, and that is a two-minute conversation rather than a menu choice.

Wisp / All four sets
i.
Classic

One extension on one natural lash. 0.15mm, C curl, 8 to 12mm. The most natural set here: your own lashes, only more of them. If somebody has told you extensions always look obvious, they have not seen a classic set done at the right length.

$165
ii.
Hybrid

Two thirds classic, one third volume fans. 0.10 and 0.07mm, CC curl. Depth and density without weight, and the set most people end up on after trying one of the other three.

2.25 hr
$195
iii.
Volume

Hand-made fans of four lashes each at 0.07mm, D curl. Fluffy, layered, and lighter than a classic set despite having four times as many lashes on it, which is the whole trick of volume.

2.5 hr
$235
iv.
Mega volume

Fans of ten to fourteen lashes at 0.03mm. For weddings, photographs, and people who like to look magnificent on a Tuesday. Reserve a three-hour window.

3 hr
$285
Fills

Every set. Two to three weeks for classic and hybrid, two for volume and mega. Priced by set rather than by lash.

The weight rule

One natural lash carries one extension safely, and the extension should be no more than about twenty per cent longer and no heavier than the lash it sits on. That is the whole of lash safety in a sentence and everything else follows from it.

Which is why volume is not heavier than classic. A 0.07mm fan of four lashes weighs about the same as one 0.15mm classic extension, because four thin things weigh what one thick thing does. The fan looks like four times as much and weighs the same, and that is the entire reason volume exists.

Mega volume at 0.03mm goes further still: fourteen lashes in a fan, still within the weight budget. It is genuinely the lightest thing on this menu and it is also the one people assume must be the heaviest.

How many you have

Most people have between ninety and a hundred and fifty natural lashes per eye, and they are on a growth cycle, so at any moment about forty per cent are too short to work with. If your natural lash line is sparse, a classic set will look sparse: one lash on one lash cannot fill a gap that has nothing in it.

That is when volume is the answer, and it is a technical answer rather than an upsell. Iris will say so at the map.

Choosing, practically

Never had extensions: classic or hybrid. Shorter appointment, gentler learning curve, and you find out how your own lashes behave.

You want obvious: volume. Not mega, unless there is a photographer involved.

You want to stop wearing mascara: hybrid, at a modest length. This is what most people actually mean and it is the most-booked set here.

What is included.

Every set

A lash bath, free

Before every appointment, including fills. Oil and makeup on the lash line is the single largest cause of poor retention and this removes it properly.

It is also five minutes that nobody charges for and that most studios skip.

Before and after

Photographed on the same phone in the same light on the same wall, every time. Useful for you and genuinely useful for us: it is how the map gets refined over four visits.

The next day

A text

Every client gets one the next morning asking how they feel. Not a marketing message and not automated.

It catches the two things that go wrong on day one, both of which are fixable in ten minutes and neither of which anybody would bother ringing about.

Asked often.

Which lash set should I get first?

Classic or hybrid if you have never had extensions. Shorter appointment, gentler on your natural lashes, and you learn how yours behave before committing three hours.

Is volume heavier than classic lashes?

No, and usually lighter. A fan of four 0.07mm lashes weighs about what one 0.15mm classic extension weighs. Volume looks like four times as much and weighs the same, which is the whole point of it.

How much do lash extensions cost at Wisp?

Classic $165, hybrid $195, volume $235 and mega volume $285 for a full set, with fills from $65. Every price includes a lash bath, photographs and a next-day text.

How long does a lash appointment take?

Two hours for classic, two and a quarter for hybrid, two and a half for volume, and a full three for mega. Fills run seventy-five to a hundred and five minutes.

Text to book.

(912) 555-0102. Iris answers within a few hours, and the studio books about two weeks out.
