The Gilded Nail opened in 2017 in a former print shop at 1104 E 6th. The awning still says Alamo Printing. The presses left extraction runs along the whole building, so every chair has its own ventilation, and north light along the back wall, so a color looks the same at the chair as it does outside.
Six independent techs rent the six chairs and keep their own books. Three things are not up to them: EMA only, no e-file on the natural nail, and nothing reused that cannot be autoclaved. No second location. No franchise.
