Four sets. Four different things.

Almost everyone arrives with a photograph, and almost nobody knows which set is in it. Here is the difference in plain terms, including the weight, because weight is the part that decides whether your own lashes survive the year.

Classic Full Set

One extension, one natural lash. 0.15 thickness, curl matched to your own, length mapped shorter at the inner corner and longer through the outer third.

Who it suits: anyone with a reasonably dense lash line who wants length rather than volume. Who it does not: sparse lash lines, where classic just makes the gaps more obvious.

02 · 135 min · $199

Hybrid Full Set

Roughly seventy per cent classic, thirty per cent fans. Singles through the dense sections, small handmade fans placed into the gaps.

The most-booked set here, because it solves the actual problem most people have: not short lashes, but uneven ones. Reads as fullness rather than as extensions.

Fill $85 · every 2–3 weeks
03 · 150 min · $235

Volume Full Set

Handmade fans of three to five 0.07 lashes on each natural lash. Made at the table, one fan at a time, not pre-made and dipped.

Counter-intuitively lighter on each natural lash than a classic set, because five 0.07 lashes weigh less than one 0.15. That is the whole argument for volume on fine lashes.

04 · 165 min · $275

Mega Volume Full Set

Fans of eight to sixteen 0.03 lashes. Dense, dark, and the closest thing to a strip lash that is still one-to-one.

Needs a healthy, reasonably dense natural lash line to sit on. If yours will not carry it, you will be told at the consultation rather than sold it and refilled twice.

Weight, honestly One 0.15 classic

Thickness is a

squares: 0.15 is not
twice 0.07, it is four
times the mass

Why volume is often the gentler choice

Lash thickness is a diameter in millimetres, and mass scales with the square of it. A 0.15 classic extension carries roughly four times the mass of a single 0.07, so a fan of five 0.07 lashes lands in about the same place as one classic, spread over five contact points instead of one.

This is why “volume is more damaging” is usually backwards. What damages a lash is weight concentrated on one follicle, or an extension bonded to two lashes at once so the shorter one gets dragged. Neither of those is a property of volume; both are properties of bad application.

What we will not do

We will not put mega volume on a lash line that cannot carry it, we will not go longer than about a third beyond your natural length, and we will not apply over a set from somewhere else without removing it first. Every one of those is a conversation we have had at the table, and every one of them ends with the client agreeing after they understand the reason.

Asked often.

Which lash set is in the photo I brought?

Usually volume, occasionally mega, almost never classic. Photographs on social are shot on the day of application, in ring light, on the artist’s own model. Bring the photo anyway: it tells your artist the shape you want even when the set is wrong.

Can I switch lash sets at a fill?

From classic to hybrid, yes, in the same appointment. Anything else needs a removal and a new full set, because you cannot build fans into an existing classic map without it looking patchy.

How long can lash extensions be?

About a third beyond your own, which is usually 11 to 13mm. Longer than that and the leverage at the base starts pulling every time you sleep on your face.

Is volume more damaging than classic?

Usually the opposite. Lash mass scales with the square of the diameter, so a fan of five 0.07 lashes weighs about the same as one 0.15 classic, spread over five contact points instead of one.

Will I be able to tell the difference?

Between classic and hybrid, at arm’s length, mostly no. Between hybrid and volume, yes. The bigger difference is in how the set ages: classic thins visibly, volume thins softly.

Two hours, one artist.

Full sets book about a week out. Say which set you think you want and we will confirm it at the map.
