Three artists · two suites

One client. One hour.

Nobody here works two chairs at once. It is the single biggest determinant of whether a set is applied one extension to one lash, and it is the reason the schedule looks the way it does.

Iris Bellamy

Licensed Esthetician, North Carolina. Volume and mega volume certified, NovaLash advanced.

Iris opened Plume in 2019 after four years in a high-volume studio where she was expected to run two beds. She books about ten days out and takes two new clients a week on purpose.

Ask for her if you want mega volume, or if a previous set went badly and you want somebody to look at your natural lashes before quoting anything.

Noor Haddad

Licensed Esthetician, North Carolina. Classic and hybrid specialist. Brow lamination certified.

Noor does the brow work, and she is the reason the lamination on this menu is a sixty-minute appointment rather than a forty-minute one. She watches the relaxer rather than setting a timer.

Ask for her for hybrid sets, and for anything involving brows.

Devi Raman

Licensed Esthetician, North Carolina. Classic, hybrid and volume. Trained in-house.

Devi apprenticed here for eight months before taking a client unsupervised, which is the same route both the others took. Her book is the newest, so she is usually the fastest to get into.

Ask for her if you are flexible on the day, or if you want a lash lift rather than extensions.

Why nobody runs two beds

The standard high-street model is one artist alternating between two clients, isolating on one while the adhesive cures on the other. It roughly doubles revenue per hour and it is the reason so many sets end up with extensions bonded to two natural lashes at once. Isolation is the whole craft, and isolation done at speed is where the damage comes from.

So the arithmetic here is worse and deliberate: three artists, two suites, one client at a time, about five clients each a day. It is also why the prices are what they are, and we would rather explain that than quietly cut the application time.

The apprenticeship

Eight months, on staff, on friends of the house, and finally on volunteers who know exactly what they are volunteering for. Nobody has ever been the first person a Plume artist has worked on for money.

Ask for a name.

Tell us who and roughly when. If your artist is three weeks out we will tell you that instead of quietly moving you to someone else.
