Treatments · $650–850

One syringe. Then wait.

Filler is the treatment where restraint matters most and is hardest to sell. Almost every over-filled face in the world was built one reasonable-seeming syringe at a time, by somebody who never said no.

Lips

Half a syringe to one, and half is where most people should start. Juvéderm Ultra or Restylane Kysse depending on how much structure against softness you want.

Cheeks · midface

One to two syringes of a firmer product. This is the area that does most for a face that reads tired, and the one people ask for least because the effect is not local to a line.

Chin & jawline

Projection and definition. Frequently the correct answer for somebody who came in asking about their nose or their neck, which is a conversation rather than a sale.

Tear trough

The hardest area on the face and the one with the highest complication rate anywhere. Only on the right anatomy, only with a cannula, and we decline it more often than we do it.

Included with every syringe. Swelling has settled by then and the result is finally honest. About a third of treatments get a small adjustment.

Why one syringe, then wait

Hyaluronic acid filler draws water. A syringe placed today is at perhaps seventy per cent of its final volume, and it keeps integrating for two weeks. Judging the result on day three and adding more is how people end up with a face that is correct on the day and overfilled a fortnight later.

So: one syringe, two weeks, then look. It is slower, it costs less, and it is the single largest difference between practices whose patients look well and practices whose patients look filled.

What filler is actually for

Volume, not lines. A line etched into skin by twenty years of expression is a skin-quality problem and belongs to microneedling or resurfacing. Filler injected under it will lift it slightly and, in the wrong hands, produce a smooth face that still looks tired.

What filler does exceptionally well is replace the fat pad volume that leaves the midface from about thirty-five onward. That is why the cheek is the most under-requested and most transformative area on this list, and why a good result there often makes the thing you actually came in about disappear.

The tear trough

Worth being plain. It has the highest complication rate of any routine filler site: the skin is thin, the vasculature is unforgiving, and product placed too superficially produces a persistent blue-grey shadow that lasts years unless it is dissolved.

We do it with a cannula, on suitable anatomy, and we decline it perhaps half the time. Volume loss in the cheek is very often the actual cause of a hollow under the eye, and treating the cheek fixes it without going near the area.

Asked often.

How much does lip filler cost?

Six hundred and fifty to seven hundred and fifty for a syringe, and half a syringe is where most people should start. The two-week refinement is included in the price.

How long does dermal filler last?

Six to eighteen months depending on the product and the area. Lips metabolise fastest because they move constantly; cheek and jawline last longest.

Can dermal filler be dissolved?

Yes, with hyaluronidase, usually within the same week. Fifty dollars, and free if it is our work and you are unhappy with it. Anything hyaluronic acid based can be removed, which is a real advantage over permanent products.

Why do you only do one syringe at a time?

Hyaluronic acid draws water and keeps integrating for two weeks, so a syringe placed today is at about seventy per cent of its final volume. Adding more on day three is how faces end up overfilled a fortnight later.

Is tear trough filler safe?

It has the highest complication rate of any routine filler site: thin skin, unforgiving vasculature, and a persistent blue-grey shadow if placed too superficially. We use a cannula, treat only suitable anatomy, and decline it about half the time.

Half a syringe is a real answer.

And frequently the right one. Come and talk about it for thirty minutes first, at no charge.
